    Wonderful Family Cabin!

What a wonderful cabin for a large family or for a family reunion! We couldn't have been more happy with our stay. The layout of the cabin is perfect. It is well kept and clean. The property managers, Barry and Pam, were so helpful with everything we needed. We are already planning our next family stay and can't wait! Thank you for everything!

    Overall good experience

We had a large group and this was just the ticket for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. Every one enjoyed themselves and the large front deck was great for the kids. There are a few upkeep issues like light bulbs not being changed and light fixtures being broken or not working. We also had to supply a few things for a group our size. There were not enough towels and hand towels to go around so we bought extra and left them there. We also ran out of toilet paper within 24 hours. Some of the sheets and blankets were a bit worn, time to renew. The kitchen was a great size and most of the beds were comfortable. We would consider coming back.

    Great for families

This place is perfect for large groups and families. Everything that you could need is either supplied at the cabin or nearby. Very easy to get to and the property manager is very responsive to your needs. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Great place for our family reunion!

This was the perfect place for our family. Close to Mesa, AZ; but cooler than the valley! We enjoyed s'mores by camp fire, basketball on the deck, and table space for crafting inside. The kitchen was large enough to share cooking responsibilities and came equipped with a skillet for breakfast and crock pot for dinner. We were close to a nice park with a lake and hiking trails and close enough to town to get forgotten supplies. There is a large room at the front of the house for large gatherings where everyone can be together and a separate dining room with a very large table for eating together. The bedrooms have nice bathrooms and are large enough for playpens and mattresses for extra large groups like ours. It was easy to reserve and pay online. We will definitely return.

    Very Spacious Cabin!

We had a large party staying for a family reunion. Most of the rooms had their own personal bathroom which was very convenient with so many people showering daily. There was plenty of room inside and out for everyone to enjoy. We could all be in one area together or find a quiet corner if we needed it. The caretaker was on property and was able to help quickly with any small issues that arose (replacing light bulbs, etc.). There are only a couple of suggestions that we have that would have made our stay better: The refrigerator has an ice maker, but it does not work. We would suggest getting it fixed. It would be nice to have a second refrigerator as it was always packed and we had to use coolers to keep any extra food in. Also, I know we were there during a peak season (May 25 - June 1), but it seems that there is not enough time in between renters for there to be a good cleaning. There were little things that we noticed that weren't apparent at first glance. There really needs to be more time in between for a more professional job to be done and for items to be fixed. Overall, though, we were very satisfied.

    Good for the price.

This is a beautiful cabin with considerable deferred maintenance. The carpets, rugs and interior furnishings are shabby and need to be thoroughly cleaned or even better replaced. The rugs in one master bathroom had holes in them and should have discarded long ago. A big plus is that there are 8 bedrooms and 7 baths. It serves a large group which is hard to find. Barry, the care taker was extremely attentive and took care of everything he was able to.

    Perfect for a large family

A wonderful four days in the Ponderosa Pines. We had plenty of room since the bedrooms are large and plentiful, especially loved the master suite. Enjoyed hiking while we were there or just plan relaxing. Thank you Barry and Pam who always made sure everything was okay. The only suggestion we have is a good dusting would really help. Loved the cabin and definitely would return!!!
